At that time we applied the upgrade to any new pages you created and asked that you update any of your existing pages to the new version, before we applied the change site-wide.
We just want to give you a quick heads-up that on August 31st, we'll be applying the upgrade to all pages, and we recommend that you apply the change yourself on a page-by-page basis.
Why the upgrade?
Fewer errors due to cleaner codeWhy should you do it page-by-page?
To create your web pages, the text editor converts your text into HTML code. The existing editor sometimes adds extra pieces of code that don't need to be there and that can change the way your content is displayed. The upgrade reduces the amount of extra code generated, resulting in more consistent results when creating your page.
Easier editing with an adjustable size
You can now adjust the size of the editor by clicking and dragging the bottom right corner. This allows you to see more of your page content without scrolling!
The code created by the new editor might be a little different than the old one, so your content may be displayed a little differently. If you change it yourself, you can adjust any strange formatting resulting from the switchover. How do you upgrade your editor?
If you haven't upgraded your editor, you'll know as soon as you go to edit a specific page. There is a big notice at the top of the editing page - just click the link provided and the new editor will be swapped in with all your existing page content.
If you have any other questions about the upgrade, please don't hesitate to ask Support.
Thank you!
