We’re always looking for ways to make managing your site and pages easier. As such, on Tuesday, June 3, you’ll see a few adjustments to the ‘My Pages’ section of the builder. It will change the way you sort your page list, organize your index, and more.
It also seems that more people are comfortable calling the link buttons that appear on all your pages the Menu instead of Index. So, from here on in that’s what we’ll be calling it!

My Pages Menu
When you click the ‘Edit Site’ tab and land on ‘My Pages’, you’ll first notice changes to the menu on the left:
- ‘Page List’ is now called ‘Edit Pages’,
- ‘Sort Pages’ is now ‘Organize Menu’,
- ‘Change URL’ and ‘Password Protect’ have moved out of the menu (don’t worry, you can still do this),
- And, ‘Page Footer’ has moved into the menu.

But what does it all mean? Keep reading!
Edit Pages
Although this still looks very much like the old Page List, we’ve added some really cool stuff.
Sorting
You can now sort these pages alphabetically by page name or page type, by clicking ‘Pages’ or ‘Type’. By default, they’re listed as shown in your menu. Sorting them this way will not change the way they appear in your menu.

Properties
Change the name and URL of a page all at once by clicking the ‘Properties’ link beside the page.

A pop-up opens, and from there you can also enable password protection, which will prompt visitors to enter a password before allowing them to view that page’s contents.

If you’d like to edit the page URLs or password protection for multiple pages, click the ‘Bulk Edit’ links beside those fields.
Site Counter & Text Editor Selection
We moved both these popular features from the ‘Site Tools’ section right to where you access all your pages.

Organize Menu
Since you can now sort your pages easily within the ‘Edit Pages’ section, we’ve dedicated one area specifically for organizing your navigation menu.

To show or hide pages from your menu, just move them left or right by clicking the arrows. To sort your menu pages, all you have to do is drag and drop them up or down.
Page Footer
This great time saving feature used to be under ‘Power Tools’, so we brought it out into the open. The footer tool allows you to insert the same page content into the footer area of multiple pages at one time.
As your website grows and your page number increases, staying organized gets more challenging.
We will soon be launching other methods for managing, organizing, and grouping your pages. This recent change in the way your pages are organized is a step towards this bigger goal, which will make it even easier to manage those pages than the older methods we offered.
