We have added a new feature to the Shipping options for your orders! This new feature is great for keeping your customers informed about their orders and can decrease your post-order customer service.

It is now possible to send shipping notifications and tracking numbers to your customers via their Order page. In the Shipping Status section, when you switch the order status to Shipped, you will be given the option to enter a tracking code from USPS, UPS or FedEx. If the box marked “Notify Customer of Shipment” is checked, when the order status is saved, an email will be automatically sent to the customer with their tracking number and a link to view the order status on the shipper’s website.

The tracking email that is sent to your customer will look like this:

Hello [customer name], 

Your order from website www.yourdomain.com has shipped. This completes your order.

Your order is being shipped by USPS: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action?tLabels=yourtrackingnumber
