After releasing the Easy Editor over a year ago, we’ve decided it’s time to say goodbye to the Word-Style text editor.
On Wednesday, May 28, anyone using the older text editor will automatically be switched over to the Easy Editor, which is similar, but offers many more features!
Like the Word-Style Editor, the Easy Editor uses a handy toolbar with buttons that make it simple to format and style your text.
In addition to the formatting features offered with Word-Style, the Easy Editor also lets you:
- Add Images
- Spell Check
- Insert Tables
- Use Special Characters, Super/Subscript
- Create Anchor Tags
- Indent
- & More!
It also has a button that lets you see and edit the HTML, without having to switch text editors – a very handy feature!
Still using Word-Style and want to get familiar with the Easy Editor before the switchover?
- Click ‘Manage Site’.
- Click ‘Options’.
- Select the Easy Editor and click ‘Save Changes’.
Don’t be afraid to play around. As much as the Word-Style Editor was great… the Easy Editor is THAT MUCH better!
