You’ve got several payment processingoptions, but first of all, you’ll want to make sure that your shoppingcart is set to deal in the Australian Dollar. If you don’t have the option of choosing your currency please contact Support.
Here are your options for charging in Australian funds:
SecurePay Integrated Payment Gateway – Forreal-time Australian dollar credit card processing.
PayPal – Use an existing or create a new PayPal account and use the integrated PayPal feature.
Manual Processing – Ifyou have a merchant account and either a virtual terminal or physicalterminal (like the ones you see in stores) to process credit cards, youcan set your credit card processing to Manual Processing. Our cartcollects all the order information and then on your terminal you canprocess the payment.
New Internet Gateway with Merchant Account –Youcan sign up with an internet gateway that also has sign-up for amerchant account. It is fairly common now to have a company thatprovides both services. This option allows you to process credit cardcharges in real time. You would insert their buttons on your site usingHTML code and would not use our integrated shopping cart. There willlikely be some combination of set up, per transaction and/or monthlyfee with this option. It is also usually the most expensive method asyou are paying for a merchant account plus an internet gateway. It’salso likely to be the most time consuming as far as set up, sinceyou’ll need to add buttons manually.
