- Click ‘Tools’ on the toolbar, then click ‘Accounts’.
- Click the ‘Mail’ tab, and then click ‘New’. If the Account Setup Assistant appears, click ‘Configure account manually’.
- On the Account type pop-up menu, select ‘POP’ as ‘Account type’ and then click ‘OK’.
- Use these settings and then click ‘OK’.:
Account Name: [enter any name you wish]
Name: [name that will be seen by email recipients]
E-mail address: [your email address]
Account ID: [your email address]
POP server: Server: mail.b.hostedemail.com
Password: [your email account password]
SMTP server: mail.b.hostedemail.com
- Under ‘Sending Mail’, click the ‘Click here for advanced sending options’
button. In the resulting window, select ‘SMTP server requires
authentication’ and ‘Use same settings as receiving mail server’.
